The registration for Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) 2016 has commenced from August 22, and will conclude on November 22, 2016. To access the SNAP Application Form, the candidates can click on the link provided in the article below. The test will be held by Symbiosis International University (SIU) on December 18, 2016. The test will be held in pen-paper based format for admission into the management programmes of the participating B-School. SNAP Reservation Policy
The Management Institutes affiliated with SIU follow the reservation policy according to the norms of UGC Regulations and Guidelines. However, Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies has their own policy for reservation of seats. The reservation policy is as follow –
Within Sanctioned Intake Scheduled Caste (SC) 15% Scheduled Tribes (ST) 7.5% Differently Abled 3% Over & Above Intake Kashmiri Migrants 2 seats per program International Candidates 15%
The candidates belonging to categories other than Open Category, if shortlisted, will be required to submit valid supporting documents at the time of GE-PIWAT.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test Registration The Symbiosis MBA Registration is a two staged processes here the candidates are required to follow these steps –
First, the candidates must register for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2016. Now the candidates must register to the participating colleges for GE-PIWAT processes.
SNAP Application Form 2016
The SNAP aspirants are required to apply for SNAP 2016 by filling in and submitting the SNAP Application Form. The Application Form will be available online on the official website of exam. With the release of the form, a link will also be provided in this article to register for SNAP. In the application form, the candidates are required to fill in their personal details, academic and program details, etc. They are also required to upload their latest passport size photograph and pay the application fee.
SNAP Application Fee 2016
During the SNAP registration process, the candidates are required to pay a non-refundable registration fee. The candidates are also required to pay an institute registration fee for each institute they apply (after being shortlisted). Last year, SNAP registration fee was Rs. 1500/- while the Institute registration fee is Rs. 1000/-. On completion of the SNAP Registration, the candidates are required to get registered to the Institutes where they want to pursue the Management programme. For registering into the Institutes, the candidates are required to visit the official websites of the participating Institutes and register. The list of the Management Institutes accepting SNAP scores will be provided in the registration form. SNAP 2016 Test Cities
The Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2016 will be conducted across 30 cities in India. The test centre will be allocated by the conducting authority according to the city marked by the candidate’s in the application form. The address of the test centre was provided on the admit card.
SNAP Exam Pattern 2016
The entrance test for SNAP 2016 will be held in pen-paper mode and the test window is for a single day only. There will be a total of 150 Objective Type Questions and each question will have 4 options to answer. These questions will be divided into 4 sections. For every correct answer, +1 mark will be awarded while for each incorrect answer -1/4 mark will be deducted.
SNAP Admit Card 2016
The Hall Ticket for SNAP will be available online on the official website of the exam in the month of December. Only the candidates successfully submitting the SNAP application form will be issued the admit card. With the release of the admit card, a link will be provided in this article. The candidates were required to print their respective SNAP hall ticket and paste their latest coloured passport size photograph on it at the space provided. This same admit card was required to be carried by all the candidates to the allocated test centre on the date of exam for seeking entry. Along with it, any of the mentioned Photo ID was also required to be carried:

SNAP Result 2016
The result of SNAP 2016 Test is expected to be released in the month of January 2016. The result will be available online on the official website of the exam. The result furnishes the score obtained by the candidates. This score will be valid for seeking admission to all MBA institutes of Symbiosis International University for the academic year of 2017-19 only.
SNAP 2016 Cutoff
The participating Institutes will be releasing their individual cutoff scores after the release of SNAP result. The cutoff mark is the minimum criteria that a candidate must score to be eligible for the pre-admission processes of the Institutes. The candidates must note that the cutoff will differ institute-wise. However, it is expected that the cutoff of different Institutes will remain similar to that of last year. The cutoff marks of each Institute will be available online on the official website of these Institutes.
SNAP 2016 Selection Procedure
With the release of the result, various Management Institutions will be releasing their cutoff marks. The candidates scoring more or equal to the cutoff marks will be eligible for SNAP pre-admission processes or selection procedure.
There are 3 stages of SNAP selection, which are as follows –
1. Group Exercise (GE). 2. Personal Interaction (PI). 3. Writing Ability Test (WAT). As mentioned above, the candidates will be shortlisted for the GE-PIWAT round on the basis of their SNAP percentile. These shortlisted candidates are required to participate in the pre-admission rounds. The final merit list will be prepared on the basis of the candidate’s overall performance in SNAP 2016, GE-PIWAT and various other factors.
