When the cells degrade, wither away and stop functioning, chances are the Angel of Death is near by. When the hearts beat begins to subside, and the blood goes cold within the confines of the transportation medium for the flesh, chances are the Angel of Death is nearby. When the heaving of the chest, heaves its last life giving breath and the brain is now starving for oxygen and fighting for dear life, chances are the Angel of Death is near by. When the central nervous system no longer passes through commands sent through it to instruct the limbs to respond to movement and reaction, chances are the Angel of death is nearby.
Every soul shall have the taste of death! Preceding the taste thereof is the presence of an emissary who never has and never will fail to perform his duty. Whose very presence can bring an involuntary shiver throughout the core structure of any living entity of creation and remind even the most arrogant the reality of one’s own mortality. The Angel of Death is watching and waiting, with the soul of every individual his to command, a decree from on high, from the dimension of the body to the dimension of the grave. Will his visitation be final in the next hour, the next day, the next week, the next month, the next year or the next decade? Regardless of when it will occur, it will occur and thus, what have we done to prepare for this inevitable meeting?
Prophecy Comics is a reminder to the mortal of their own mortality. Regardless of our position and our wealth, we must one day pay homage to the Creator of all things, a homage that begins with the visitation of a being who has been given great powers by one who is High in Might and all Wise. Prepare for this visitor and ensure you are not caught unawares lest the soul shriek and crawl to every crevice of the body trying to escape the long reaching grasp of the Angel sent to deliver the soul of the dead flesh. Such resistance will only bring about undue and immense pain and suffering, not unlike the pain and suffering such a soul may have committed unto others while boastfully living on the surface of the earth. Prophecy Comics can be conceptualised as religious comics, yes or spiritual comics, yes but make no mistake they are comic books that discusses the sacred aspects of the living so that the sanctity of the dead is in a tranquil state.
