Introduction Fluoride is a commonly known chemical added by water municipal corporation to help tooth decay for the mass. But is it really helpful or does it harms in one or the other way. Secondly, Once fluoride is added in water, it goes in everybody- may it be infant or elderly regardless of weight, height, age or need. There is no control on the quantity that goes within which leads to various diseases that may be visible in long run.
Thirdly: If it is treated as a drug, then a prior consent from medical fraternity needs to be taken however, the point to be noted here is that it is classified as an unapproved drug by FDA.
