U.S.A. Landscape Photographer of the Year Competition- Ready to accept all Soon to be Photographers
The "U.S.A Landscape Photographer of the Year" is a worldwide contest headed by Charlie Waite and his team of expert outdoor photographers working for the Light & Land Company. This is the ideal opportunity for lesser known photographers to achieve worldwide recognition for their inventive talents and accomplishments. The winners will sure be pleased to accept the prizes and cash up to $10,000 worth in general.
There are five categories that are shown below. The one who can provide the perfect portfolio of three independent images will be rightfully called as the Top Honors. The images can be either be literal or abstract.
• Black & White • Landscape on the Move • Urban Landscapes (Cities and Towns) • Classic View Landscapes (Rural Photographs) • My USA: What does America mean to You?
The final part of the contest will be a freestyle competition which means all competitors can select any photographic genre there is. All photos should only be captured inside America for it to be valid. So it's up to you as to how you symbolize America as portrayed in your captured photos.
Submission of entries is until February 16, 2014. We recommend all competitors to submit three of their favourite photographs in order to earn the top reward. The panel of judges is composed of Marc Adamus, Christopher Burkette, Tim Fitzharris, David Muench, Mark Muench, Jim Patterson, as well as, Charlie Waite himself; these individuals have contributed a lot to the art of photography and are famous all around the globe.
Coordinators for the U.S.A Landscape Photographer of the Year promised to make this an annual event. Be the first champion to arise in this contest. Participants can decide to present three photographic images from various styles or a series of images denoting a single category. The choice is yours. Present us what you are made of. Plus, the world has the chance to see the event photo of the year and give a chance of exhibiting the winner's expertise in a global scale.
