If you need money and you need to borrow it fast you're just like so many other folks today. Times can be tough now, so money is often tight. Also a line of credit is far more difficult to secure now. It's just a whole lot more difficult and time consuming to get a cash loan. Plus you need a stellar credit rating now.

This is the precise reason why today more folks who just a handful of years ago would have gone to their local bank are now turning to online fast payday loans. For one thing they can do all the arrangements from their own home, and then after they are approved the money is often transferred to their account in as little time as twenty-four hours. What are the cons though?

The first thing you need to understand, is that even though it's is done online and you don't need a credit approval, these sites are none the less lending institutions. They're in it for a profit. So yes the loans do come at a cost and they also can have some pretty stiff terms too, so make sure that you do your homework on them before you take one out.

Now the first downside to fast payday loans, is that while they are in deed fast and easy, dollar for dollar they are more expensive than, say a loan from a bank, or credit agency. For instance you will pay a higher interest rate for sure and you can also count on some type of loan fee as well. So up front, they cost more to secure.

The 2nd downside or con that you should think about, is that they also come with some rather stiff terms regarding late fees, and penalties. What this adds all up to, is that if you take out a loan and are late on payments or even if you default all together, you can expect to see the amount that you owe balloon up substantially and it can adds up quick.

Then the 3rd negative aspect, is one that most people really don't think about until it's too late. That is that they are fast, and easy. What this means, is that if you've had problems meeting your credit obligations in the past, an easy loan of this type can be just one more opportunity for you to screw things up on your credit report even worse.
