And this is absolutely the same thing we see with computer security!

No computer virus, trojan or spyware can appear in your PC if it didn't come outside. This is the fact almost all users forget about when face with armada of computer pests. Imagine your computer as a black box with a number of inputs and outputs. I am not talking of peripheral inputs like COM, LPT or USB ports! I mean informational inputs and outputs instead. For example, when you buy new software disk or computer game in your nearest Wal Mart, bring this disk to your computer and insert it into your CD-ROM drive - that is the input. You just brought some new information to your computer. And when you send an email to someone - this is an output. I want you to understand this important thing clearly: these inputs and outputs are the only ways information can get into or from your computer. No other way exists. Only this one.

Unfortunately, this is also the only way new viruses, trojans, spyware and adware get to your computer and this is also the only way your private information can run away straight to the hands of dishonest people. However, now you have this secret weapon - you know your enemy's face.
