3 Ways To Come Up With Interesting Content For Your Blog
Time and again I read about blog owners and other online publishers commenting on how tricky it is to regularly come up with relevant ideas to turn into helpful and unique blog posts.
So here are 3 of my favourite tips to help you come up with the inspiration you need. These suggestions will enable you to create as many blog posts as you want, whatever your particular market may be:
Tip 1: Read Other Blogs In Your Market:
Just type your specific topic followed by the word "blog" into Google or any other search engine and study some of the results that come back.
This tactic can provide a fantastic source of ideas and inspiration whatever your particular niche, although it goes without saying that you cannot simply copy a post you like and include it within your own blog without agreement.
What I recommend you do here is simply unearth compelling blog posts that you think your potential customers will like and then produce your own article in your own words to add to your site.
Do your research around the subject first so that your article is truly unique and is written in your own style, offering your individual personality and thoughts on the issue you are writing about.
Tip 2: Research Your Central Keywords:
Visit the Google keyword tool (type "Google keyword tool" into the Google search box to find it) and add the central keyword for your marketplace into the bit that says "Word Or Phrase".
This then gives you a collection of the internet marketing keywords that are appropriate to your particular topic and you will notice that many of them are then worded as a question -- they begin with the words "how to..." or something similar. These questions will often become an appropriate topic for a blog post.
Not only have you unearthed a topic you can write about by using this tack, but you also have a ready-made post title and an accurate idea of the volume of people that will be searching for that specific phrase every month as well. This can be a surprisingly effective internet marketing strategy and can generate a lot of fantastic ideas for very little effort.
Of course, you should not restrict yourself to just creating blog posts on subjects that answer a question. You will find out that by examining your principal keywords in this way, you will discover a far more wide-ranging list of ideas that will appeal to your potential customers, each one of which can be used to create an interesting and informative feature that remains relevant.
Tip 3: Research Your Marketplace On YouTube:
Video-sharing sites such as YouTube can offer a fantastic source of ideas when it comes to generating your content. Again, just type your main keyword into the search box and look at what comes back.
The great thing about YouTube is that many of the video clips are uploaded by people who provide a solution to a specific issue. Other videos discuss ways in which something related to your marketplace can be improved or done more efficiently.
This type of useful and relevant information is always likely to be interesting to your visitors. Taking the various ideas that you have unearthed and then adapting them into your own written article is a terrific method of writing interesting posts for your blog, although again, it is essential to incorporate your own style, personality, research and ideas into your content to make it unique to you each time.
You will find that these 3 simple strategies will produce more inspiration than you are ever going to require, allowing you to offer your blog's visitors unique and valuable content that is written in your own style and expressed in a manner that will therefore appeal to your potential customers.
