Evening Primrose Oil: Woman's Favorite That Also Benefits Men
Let's face it, female humans are, frankly, wonder-women. At home, they take care of the family, perform the majority of the household duties (once in a while my tall male human makes breakfast on Sundays, during which time, he pretends he's Iron Chef Bobby Flay, the virtual king of the kitchen). Meanwhile, my female human finds the time to make sure my kibble dish is full and that I receive my (purrr) daily allotment of scratches behind the ears.
Sometimes, however, despite her best efforts, my beloved tall lady feels a little less than stellar. She's achy and uncomfortable. That's why I've found that many people recommend Evening Primrose Oil (it just sounds soothing, doesn't it?).
So men, listen up... because not only does this popular supplement benefit your lady (and therefore indirectly you, it also has direct benefits to your own body too). Here's why...
Evening Primrose Oil contains a healthy amount of gamma-linolenic acid or GLA. GLA is an omega-6 fatty acid; an essential fatty-acid that your body needs, but does not produce on its own. Omega 6 fatty-acids are primarily found in plant based oils and in something called Spirulina, which is blue-green algae (I thought this sounded completely unappetizing at first but, I reconsidered when I realized that fish eat it and I eat fish... but I'm getting off track).
So... as I was about to say, Omega-6 fatty-acid is essential to all our humans. As a result, Evening Primrose Oil, being a great source of this essential ingredient, promotes healthy brain function, helps to regulate the metabolism, maintain bone health, and stimulates the growth of skin and hair. And for our ladies' in particular, GLA supports premenstrual comfort. Truly Evening Primrose Oil is a godsend, which explains why it's a favorite of many females and their guys
At work, my tall female human (back to the fact that she is a dynamo) runs an office and manages a staff (whatever that is), all while pounding the city pavement and doing so in those spikey shoes she calls "heels." Heels! I don't know how (or why) she does it. Thankfully, Evening Primrose Oil, because it's an Omega-6 fatty acid, also supports joint comfort. Helping to soothe my gal's aching feet and tired ankles.
We all love our human Mommies (don't dare tell anyone I call her that, it's a secret). They do so much for so many, kats certainly included. Anything I can do or suggest to facilitate her well being and comfort I would perform a thousand times over (and I know you'd do the same). Evening Primrose Oil sounds like a must-suggest supplement for both my humans. You have my Kat-recommended endorsement for your family as well.
