What's dynamic hand value?

by max sabbai

What is Dynamic Hand Value? I think dynamic hand value is when the Potsize become relative to Your Draw Odds...therefore your starting holecards are dynamic. Let's assume that 2 players play the same hand (like JT offsuit for instance): Losing Player#1>>> 90% of poker players out there will risk $5 just to win 1 measly dollar....don't let that be you! Winning Player#2>>>A winning player will do jus the opposite; by risking only $1 to win $5!!! A winning player plays the same hands as the losing player; but he plays it only when the Potsize is right! How come these 2 players play the same starting hands; but only player #2 does all the winning? It's because winning player#2 understands dynamic hand value....and that the Pot Odds is what makes your starting hand Dynamic! Over the long run...good starting hands like AA should win more than it loses...and that's what really counts...is the long run. Bad Beats Bad beats are a part of poker. It happens and will continue to happen...you have no control of that. Putting money in the Pot when you're the favorite is the correct thing to do. So don't feel bad if someone cracks your AA; because in the long run your AA will win more than it loses! So just be glad that you played you cards the best way you know how...and that the other player will have to carry a big rabbit's foot in order to beat you!
