Your power, your money should belong to you: Rahul Gandhi in Kharsia, Chhattisgarh

Kharsia (Chhattisgarh): Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi while delivering a huge election rally in Kharsia in poll bound in Chhattisgarh, had remarked that people had to remembered the great sacrifice of former Congress leader late Mr. Nandu Kumar Patel to develop, who was killed with other senior leader in Jiram Valley on 25th may this year. Rahul Gandhi also laid attack on BJP’s policies which are hurting masses in a big way, creamy layer of society becoming more powerful but the weak section of the society is not able to come up from poverty and employment. While remembering the sacrifice of Nand Kumar Patel, Rahul Gandhi said that he never left the ground reality and worked in favour of masses and oppressed people and this is the main cause that he was being killed by Naxals. He also lashed out that BJP has failed to deliver against Naxal terrorism in Chhattisgarh. “There is only one place in Chhattisgarh where any leader of opposition cannot enter the village. One Sarpanch stands in a village name Nandela where every door of the house gets close when a leader of opposition enters into the village that was our Nandu Patel. People recognised him from there. Usually the man who rises from the ground level leaves the ground very soon. Is that right or not? But he was not that kind of man. He never left the ground reality that’s why he died in Naxal attack in Jiram valley.” Rahul Gandhi added in the rally. He said whatever happened he would go to the place. Now Congress thinks in the manner Nand Kumar used to think. “Whether it’s RTI, MANREGA or Food security bill we want to empower women, youth and the people of the village. Your money, your power should belong to you that’s what we have been doing.” Rahul Gandhi noted while addressing the huge rally in Chhattisgarh poll bound. While remembering the sacrifice of senior leaders of Congress, Mahendra Karma, Vidya Charan Shukla, and Nand kumar patel he said that sacrificing of self has been the history of Congress. But Congress doesn’t think for that but welfare of masses has been the top priority since independence. And people has accepted this fact that’s why people elect them, but people of Chhattisgarh have been deviated by BJP and this is the only reason Chhattisgarh is lacking behind from other states. “I don’t want one Nandu Kumar Patel but I at least want 500 Nandu Patel from you and Nandu Patel’s son and I don’t bring it from Delhi but I want from this crowed who remove BJP from here that’s the only way your state can develop. Will you do it or not? Don’t forget this. I thank you all go and win the elections.” Rahul Gandhi warned BJP and urged the people as well.
