How to plan a Baby Shower on a Budget
So your throwing a baby shower, and have no idea what you need or where to go to plan your baby shower. Well here are some ideas for someone on a budget. First of all, you are going to need some supplies. But don't worry if you have a computer and some paper you can do these things yourself, everything else you can buy for cheep at the doller store, or Grocery store, like Wal-Mart or K-mart - Invitations- If you have a computer you can do this yourself or buy blank invitations, pink or blue, buy fun stickers, all at your local doller store and make your own. - Sign in sheet for guests - You can make this yourself on your computer, if you want to be fancy you can even buy colored paper (blue, or pink) Label at the top in a fun font Sign-In Sheet for guests, so the mother to be can have record of who was at her shower. - Notes or advice cards- If you have ever been pregnant, you know that every mom or mom to be has some sort of advice. So this is a good way to get all of the advice at once. You can make these by cutting up paper into little cards, or blank business cards work great as well. Label at the top notes or advice cards and give to each guest as they sign the sign in sheet. - Your also going to need a baby gift tracking log - So the mother to be can write thank you notes later on. You can buy baby stickers at the doller store, or just the store, they are not very expensive. You can also do this on the computer and type at the top baby gifts and add cute stickers. - Name tags- You can make them yourselves out of paper and saftey pins or cut up an old sheet, make miny cute cloth diapers and write names in marker and attach with a safty pin. To make it even better use pink or blue diapers. Or if you don't have this much time buy nametags at the store they are not very expensive. - You are also going to need paper cups plates, napkins, and plastic silverware, you can get these items at the doller store. Pink or blue depending on the babies sex. You can get some other fun decorations there as well, like ballons and streamers to make the room look like it has a theme.Some fun food ideas - Ice tea is cheep and makes a great refreshing beverage - You can have a bun in the oven, or a cinnabun they are not very expensive -Make your own veggie platter with broccoli carrots and califlower with some ranch dressing very inexpensive as well. - also a cake at the Grocery store is not very expensive, or you can bake one yourself.
