Holliday frustration
The first tip is one that we have used this past year because our family seems to be getting bigger and bigger. I used to spend $40 to $50 per person for gifts some times even more. When more and more family members came over it wasn’t long before I was spending $ 1,000 and that wasn’t including my immediate family. This last year we decided to hang a stocking for each member of the family with a decretive large bag below each stocking. Each member picks a name to buy for so instead of buying 20- $50 gifts we buy only 1- $50 gift but we also buy 20- $5 gifts one for each stocking. They have included everything from calendars to candy to figurines. The $ dollar store or 99 cent store is loaded with good stuff.The next tip is one that not only has saved me money all year but it has saved me time also. I even shocked a few people by remembering there Birthday and no it was on time. Thanks to a new system put out by send out cards tm.These are real cards that I can not only get my cards out on time but I can save money! All I have to do is pick from over 5,000 greeting cards from there online catalog. After I picked one I simply key in there name and address info and write something to say that is in my own hand righting. It even puts my signature at the bottom of the card. The nice thing about the system is I can even get creative if I want. I can up load a digital picture for the front of my card or put it on the inside. The best part is I choose a gift card from there inventory like Wal-Mart or home depot or even Star Bucks coffee gift card to name a few. You can even have a personal check from 1 Cent to $50.This past Christmas I sent out 80 Greeting cards in my hand righting for less the $1 each and it only took me 15 min .All I had to do was press a button on my computer and they do all of the work. No more licking, stamping or going to the store.
