However, you do not have to worry if your Cambridge English isn’t the best or you feel anxious when taking an IELTS exam. There are several ways you can improve your English skills and score higher marks on the International English Language Test.
How can you best prepare yourself for the IELTS exam? One of the best ways is making sure to not revise your Cambridge English so much the night before. If you haven’t learnt it yet, you probably won’t retain much in the 12 hours before the test (without getting any sleep). Getting full eight hours of sleep will help you stay calm before the test and use your English more effectively. Get in your sleep and ignore distractions, such as the television, and you will do better. Visualise yourself getting high marks of the International English Language Test. This doesn’t just help keep you calm before the test; it also gives you the confidence so that you can do better.
