4. Not providing the right information - There are many things that an employer wants to know such as, where you worked in the past, your work knowledge and skills, among other things.

They don't want to know a lot of personal information about you, unless it is going to influence you getting the job. Only provide the information that is needed because employers are busy and don't have a lot of time to spend looking at resumes.
