If you consider taking up exercise to be in good shape and lose weight, you should also think hard about how does the exercise impact on your cardio vascular health. If you have health issues, it will be advisable to consult your physician to get expert advise on what type and how much exercise you should have. Generally , however, it is a good idea to start off slowly if you are a beginner and increase the tempo as time goes by.
It will do you more harm than good if when you start off you end up huffing and puffing straining you heart beat in the process. The secret is to take it slow, making sure you take in a lot of oxygen as you go about it. If you have time on your side , then it is advisable to allot thirty minutes every after each day so that you rest in between. As time goes by, you can then exercise five times a week, and have your weekends as you resting period.
If you are exercising in order to lose weight, you should watch your diet carefully. Fatty foods are a no, no. Eat as much as carbohydrates as possible to increase energy and proteins for cell tissue rebuilding. Fats shold be of vegetables such as sun flower oil or avacado fats.
If you do not have enough time to allot for your exercise routine, there are ways by which you can overcome this obstacle. For example, instead of driving to the local supermarket for those small groceries, walk there instead. If you have to drive, then park your car as far away from the entrance of the supermarket as possible. Then walk briskly as you can towards the entrance. When you get to work, use the stairs instead of the lift, and walk up as fast as you possibly can.
You can also buy an elliptical trainer (a stationery training machine) which you can use to get your heart rate up and allow you to burn a lot of calories in a short period of time. Whatever time you have to do some exercise, do be consistent. After a week or two of consistency, you will feel a marked difference of the wellbeing in your body. This will encourage you to keep up the routine and hopefully after a few months it will become a habit - a good habit for your health.
Remember that you should make your exercise routine fun. If you have to jog, take a different route every time. Vary your exercises regularly so that you don't get bored. Perhaps one week you will concentrate on doing as many push ups as possible, followed by a week of doing sit ups.
Maybe you could also do some aerobics, kick boxing, weight lifting, swimming or some other form of exercisie you find enjoyable doing. The main thing is to be consistent, unless you might be nursing a cold, which is unlikely if you exercise regularly and eat the right diet.
