What Is Obedience?
Obedience! Now here's a concept many people have trouble with! Yet obedience is pretty simple and painless, once you realize what it actually means.
In my world, every person has a divine blueprint, which your eternal self agreed with God (or divine intelligence) before you ever came into body. The part of your being that is multidimensional and timeless has an overview of many lifetimes; this part got together with Divine intellilgence and the other members of your soul group (the theatre troupe you are evolving with in a series of lifetimes), and together you collectively made some choices about this lifetime: who you would be, what you would do, your genius, talents and assignments. Effectively, you chose your handful of cards; this particular lifetime is then about how you choose to play those cards.
We can all see that human beings somehow got cut off from divine intelligence. In the Christian tradition, this separation was caused by the Fall of Man; metaphorically, Adam decided to listen to the snake rather than to God, and ate the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil. God said he would die if this happened, and the snake said he would not die, but would 'become as a god'. Even in terms of that story, the snake was correct: Adam didn't die physically, because he lived for another 600 years. He didn't die at the level of soul or psyche (what you think, feel, believe and desire), because he had even more going on psychologically than ever before. However, God was right - Adam did die at the spiritual level, meaning that light of his spirit was no longer instructing his soul what to think, feel, believe and desire, and (in metaphorical terms), Adam and Eve were cut off from God's immediate presence and thrown out of the Garden of Eden, where everything was pleasant and easy.
Effectively, Adam's disobedience created a glitch in the programming of the human race that was passed down through the genetic memory, so that even if you are a good person, you still have that spiritual separation. That's why we needed a fix-patch from the manufacturer in the form of someone to reconnect your spirit with the divine Spirit. In the Christian tradition, this is Jesus Christ, who is the relay from you to God. You don't need to identify yourself as a Christian (in the religious sense) in order to utilize this fix-patch; you just need to accept the fix patch and use it to learn how the natural and the supernatural worlds work together.
Despite the Fall, however, your Spirit never got disconnected; it is still redeemed and continues to speak to God. It's just your Soul and body that are cut off from that multidimensional eternal life. Your Spirit is the part that continues through all times and dimensions; it's the light you need to your records. Intelligence is truth and light, and you need that light of Spirit to read your own records, where your truth for this lifetime is digitally recorded on rings that are read by light. It's as if you are unique book in the universal library. Once you can read those records, you get to choose obedience to your divine plan.
Ugh… there's that word obedience again! Isn't there a less loaded word we could use? I'm afraid not. In your inner bio-computers, all these programs have their own files and directories/folders. Now you know that when you want to pull up a particular file, you have to have exactly the right file name, otherwise, the computer doesn't recognize what you want to run. If your aim is to live according to your divine blueprint, then Obedience is the file you want to open. All it means is "right now, what will get me into alignment with my divine blueprint?"
Doesn't it make sense that living according to your divine blueprint will be easier and more productive than getting sidetracked by your lower soul? It actually takes less energy and creates less stress when you stick to what you are designed to be, do and have! Thus, staying in obedience is a good idea all round, especially when you realize that this type of obedience is not about obeying your parents, society, police or human law (although that's normally a good idea, too). It's about alignment with what YOU are here to do, be or have - whatever that involves. You made your choices on that one long ago. From this perspective, there is no difference between free will and predestination, because you agreed to your divine blueprint before the foundation of the world.
So when we talk about obedience, we are looking at what gets us into alignment with Spirit rather than staying stuck in the Soul. At the Soul level, you go back and forth all the time between what you WANT, what you FEEL, and what you THINK; obedience to your own divine blueprint lets you rise above the Soul back into Spirit. The aim of Geotran is to reconnect you with your divine blueprint, restoring your Soul and Spirit to its natural frequency. Then you can get back on track to fulfilling your assignments with ease and grace!
