Cheap holiday in Spain
A good starting point if you are looking for a cheap holiday in Spain is the website www.HolidayRentalsinSpain.com which has thousands of properties advertised by owners wanting to find people to rent out their properties whilst they are on holiday. If you want a cheap holiday in Spain then it is best to avoid certain times of year when owners will be looking for maximum rental return, such as during the Easter and the summer holidays. Take a chance and offer the owner a deal, you never know they might just say yes and look out for special offers or last minute deals that they are offering.Higher priced holidays are usually around coastal areas as this is in high demand so if you are prepared to hire a car and head more inland you may find a better bargain to be found. On the Internet and on television last minute offers from hotels can help you get that cheap holiday in Spain that you are after. Owners and hotels advertising in newspapers may also have deals on offer. The other alternative is to look at camping sites in Spain or to hire a caravan/motor home and travel around Spain you. You can hire motor homes from airports such as Malaga but they are not cheap unless you are splitting the cost between several adults. If you have more than one family that can travel to Spain with you then another idea is to hire a villa/townhouse and split the costs between you. This can work out cheaper than hiring an apartment for just one family and you have the advantage then of possibly your own private pool and you will have lots more space. Eating out in Spain can be cheap, look out for the menu of the day in restaurants. Markets sells vegetables at a fraction of the cost of a supermarket, (which are pretty cheap anyway) and if you are self-catering this can cut costs. At the beach don’t hire a sunbed for seven euros a day just pack an umbrella and a beach towel and buy drinks/ice-creams from the booths you see on the promenade rather than the beach restaurants that you will see. If you are planning to take the children out to places such as waterparks find out before you go on either the internet or from a leaflet if prices are cheaper if you go for half a day. Often half a day with young children when it is hot outside is long enough! You can have a cheap holiday in Spain but better still you can have a holiday that you will really enjoy too.
