Fad diets and starvation are the most common ways that people will attempt to lose weight. But let's get one thing straight - neither of these are effective nor healthy. Fad diets are based around lose theories with little to no proven results. Starvation, or something very similar is the worst thing you can do to try and lose weight. The temptation is there for people who are desperate to drop pounds. However, eating less could actually result in a weight gain. When your body doesn't know when it's going to get its next meal, it goes into 'starvation mode' - which means that whenever you do eat something, it will be stored as fat; which of course is why you will gain weight instead of losing it. This is extremely unhealthy and should be avoided at all costs, as there are much healthier ways to lose weight. In this article we shall look at ways in which you can lose 30lbs a month without having to resort to these measures.

When you think about exercising in order to lose weight, you probably think about daily 30 minute jogs. However, one of the best ways to lose weight as well is by doing resistance. This is an excellent way to lose weight, because when you develop lean muscle tissues on your body, metabolism will increase - and when your metabolism increase, you will be able to burn off fat at a much higher rate. Also, resistance training is an excellent way to burn and shed those calories per session. That doesn't mean that you should avoid or not do cardio - it's still the best for weight loss - but you should focus primarily on resistance training if you want to see the best results.

Eat more! As we said already at the start of this article; It's absolutely not healthy to starve yourself from the food that you body needs. On the other hand, when they suggest to eat more, that doesn't mean that you can eat more junk food. Eating about 4 or 5 small portions of healthy food is great for weight loss - excellent in the sense that you won't look for those junk foods anymore the whole day. The idea of eating more, is that you don't give your body a single chance to crave other foods. If you do find yourself craving foods, then you have to be very mentally strong to avoid giving in to your cravings. A good way to help you with this, is by getting rid of all the junk food that you have around the house.

The next thing that you can do to your daily ritual is to add the consumption water to your system. Water is great for giving you huge boosts of energy that can give you the motivation to start exercising like never before. Also, water acts as another appetite suppressant - so whenever you find yourself getting hungry, you should try drinking a pint of water with a slice of lemon in it, in order to combat your cravings. Water is also important to keep your body hydrated, it should also be used before, during after you exercise.

The best way to lose 30lbs a month is to hire yourself a personal trainer - one who will be able to give you a specific exercise plan that is tailor suited for you and your needs to lose 30lbs a month. It's hard to know where to start on your quest to lose 30lbs, but a personal trainer will know exactly how you can achieve that with modern and motivating exercise regimes.
