More and more at the casinos and at the online casinos people are spending a lot of time sitting in front of the video poker

machines and playing until they forget that there is something more in the world than the little machine in front of them.

Why is that?

I got to local bars and sitting at one corner, away from all the customers, in a darker part of the establishment, you will

With video poker, you have a slightly higher chance of winning because you do not have to play every hand dealt. You can

choose to sit out few if you do not like the way the game is going you can take a break.

Because of this you can on an average score higher and make higher totals with the eventuality of when you walk away from the

video poker machine, you have the higher chance of walking away a winner.

It is also said in many video poker circles and plenty of other articles around the web that the statistics of hitting higher

paying options while playing video poker are higher in comparison to playing video slot machines.

And once a slot machine player begins to play the video poker machine it is pretty much over. Most players that begin to

make a switch like this, do not go back to playing the original game they started playing, the game that probably got them

gambling in the first place.

There are still many people playing the slot machine nowadays, but because of the great leaps in technology in America, we

have many more options concerning slot machines than ever before. It is said too sometimes that the people that have gone

over to playing the newer video poker machines are the old players of the slot machines. And that is almost certainly true.

Because most of those players are not the poker players themselves, they were already gamblers that had an affinity for the

video poker or video slot machines. A poker player, a card table poker player, does not have the patience to sit with a

machine for piddly chump change that may or may not spill out.
