When owning a home there is always a chance that there could be some issues that will need to be tended to. Even if your house is brand new there is always that slim possibility of a water pipe breaking or leaking. It is always a wise choice to have a handy supply of some mold remediation products ready in case of an emergency. The more proactive you are about getting this water leak fixed the less chances of a mold outbreak you will have in the home. I am one of those people who recently had a problem with water links in my house and of coarse the water overflowed and rested in the place where i work everyday which was my office. I was in awe that my computer server as such a great swimmer because that and the carpet where sitting in about 2 inches of water. i needed to get this fixed as soon as possible so i went down to the office and tried to assess the damages and i could already smell the mold growing. I was unable to get any work done in the office because i guess i started having an allergic reactions to the mold and i developed some skin irritations and a nasty headache. i made up my mind that if i didn't do smoething about this mold right now that i would be in trouble.

I checked checked an online mold store and purchased some new organic mold remediation formula that really impressed me. I went and looked around at the home depot and rented a water extractor and a carpet cleaning machine combo.i drove back to my house and began the mold extraction process. The first thing i did was use the water extraction machine and vacuumed up as much moisture as i possibly could. The mold remediation kit that i bought came with two different types of mold cleaning products.

The first product was used to destroy the black mold spores and the other mold removal product acted as a blocker which kept the mold from returning ata later time. I benefited more than i thought with this kit as i will show you later on. I filled up the carpet cleaning machine with the mold destroyer product. Next i used the carpet cleaning machine to hit all the carpet that was wet and made sure the mold cleaner got to the root of the carpet so the brushes of the carpet cleaning machine could lift up any mold spores and dirt. I then let the organic mold product stay in the carpet for 10 - 15 minutes as i was instructed to. I had one of those pressurized spray bottles that the orkin man used and filled that up and sprayed the carpet area again just to make sure i didn't miss anywhere. This time i turned the vacuum switch to on position on the carpet cleaning machine and gave it another cleaning.

Now that you have the initial step of the mold remediation chore all finished. The next part was easy. The secondorganic mold removal kits was the mold encapsulator. I applied the solution to all the carpeting in the room and left it alone to dry. That was it! The back of the bottle said to reapply if needed in which i did to be better safe than sorry.

Now i have no smell of mold in my office and I can work peacefully without getting a headache from the mold spores. The main challenge was to get rid of the mold that was embedded in my carpets which posed no problem at all. But i didn't think that this solution would clean the carpets as well as it did. i am just glad that i found out about this problem before it became too late.
