Make Pasta with Your Kitchen Aid
It is very easy to go to the store and pick up a box of pasta noodles or spaghetti. It is even easier to pour them into a pot of boiling water and cook for a few minutes. Why mess with something that is already so simple and easy? Pasta is fast, it is easy, and it is delicious.
What if I told you there was a way to make cheaper and better tasting pasta? Your first thought might be 'what could possibly make it cheaper and how much better could it taste?
I'm not suggesting going out and buying the cheapest box of pasta possible because that often has an inferior taste, and I am not suggesting getting the best tasting because that is usually the most expensive. What I am suggesting you do will take a little bit more of your time, but it will give you a feeling of satisfaction as well as enjoyment.
What I am suggesting is that you make your own pasta. What? Make my own pasta, you ask? Yes. Making pasta is not common for the average person. I bet many of you might not even have a clue how it's done. Making pasta has many advantages.
It tastes better when you make fresh pasta just as anything else tastes better fresh. It is a great way to impress your friends and family when you have them over for dinner. It can be a great way to have fun with your kids or to just relax and have a project. It is cheaper than buying it because it only uses wheat flour and eggs and maybe a few other ingredients. I think the better tasting pasta alone is enough.
If you want to make your own pasta, there are several ways to do it. You can do it with or without a pasta maker. If you plan on making pasta only on very special occasions every couple of years, doing it by hand makes sense because you don’t have to buy a pasta maker.
Still, it makes it a lot more difficult and time consuming. If you are going to make pasta more often, at least a couple times a year, you should get a pasta maker. It takes away a lot of the difficult tasks.
You can buy a regular pasta maker, or if you have a kitchen aid stand mixer, you can buy the attachments. What is great about this is that it's cheaper than buying an entire pasta maker and it takes up less space. You also get the same Kitchen Aid guaranteed quality. If you want fresh, delicious, and home made pasta, get your attachment today and start cooking a great meal!
