1962 National Glenwood 99 Professional Excellence Guitar with the Map Shaped Resoglas body - National Guitars Used:
In this demo, we are spot lighting a 1962 National Vintage Guitar. This instrument was featured on the cover of Vintage Guitar Magazine in the May 2006 issue.We had some finishing work done to this guitar. The Art Deco patterns on the pickups were touched up and the pickups were set up with and additional shim, all done at Dan Erlewine's shop.Also coming with the guitar, is the catalog.. Also, I will be including the origional National Branded, Red Guitar Strap that comes with the guitar. This used National Guitar is just too awesome for words.
This electric guitar features the Grover Deluxe Enclosed Tuners with the Tulip Buttons, and the origional Map Shaped Hardshell Case, that has the Deluxe Burgandy interior.
This used guitar has been professionally set up with low easy playing action and it sounds majestic.It's all origional, therfore, this guitar will continue to rise in value through the future. The Resoglas body is in magnificent condition and the black side bindings are in exceptional shape. There is some finish crazing on the back side of the neck, but overall, this is an marvelous looking guitar.

This used national guitar, is just as it would have been sold in 1962 with the Map Shaped Resoglas body, 2 Supro Valco Single coil Pickups and a very early type of a Piezo Bridge.This is one super cool looking Antique National Guitars.
This Vintage National guitar is spectacular to play, it sounds terrific and is terrific to look at.
