Synthetic Skating Ice - How to Completely Eliminate Buyers' Risk

There are so many questions and unknowns when a buyer is about to make a purchase of synthetic ice for home use or commercial use. All manufacturers claim that their product is the best so it can be really confusing for a buyer. How can they all claim that their's is the fastest, or the best glide, or the lowest price and so on? Sometimes the buyer discovers what they purchased does not match the claims the vendor was making with respect to performance of the product.

Here's a very easy solution. Purchase a product that offers a money back guarantee. IcePro for example offers a full 30-day money back guarantee for customers who buy the product for home use. They will even include the cost to return ship the goods if not completely satisfied with the product. So before you commit to spending your hard earned money make sure you get it in writing that the vendor is prepared to fully refund your purchase if you are not completely satisfied with it. If they are not prepared to do this then you need to question whether you really wish to do business with them.

Another way to reduce consumer risk is to see if the vendor you are considering for your synthetic ice purchase is a member of the Better Business Bureau (BBB) or similar consumer advocate group. With today's BBB you can easily check up on a company's reputation by clicking the BBB link on the vendor website. This takes you into the BBB site where you can see if any complaints were ever registered. If any complaints were registered it will indicate the outcome of those complaints.

Finally, do your research in terms of product performance and material quality. If a company makes a performance claim then ask what test they used to produce that result. If you discover what appears to be a low price product claiming to also be a high performance product - then common sense needs to tell you that is not likely to be the case. Ask for testimonials and references as well. Take the time to make a few phone calls and check those references.

All is not always as it appears with synthetic ice products. Companies seem to be able to make their product look good and sound good on their websites and brochures. Company websites are full of great marketing and boastful claims, some of them are true and many are not. We recognize that it can be difficult for consumers to make the best choice based on their budget and desired performance level.

This can be a significant purchase. Take your time, do your research, and take appropriate steps to ensure you will be a long term satisfied customer.
