How to Choose a Perfect Lipstick Color for Your Skin Tone
Most of the women gather a bunch of lipstick colors in their beauty kit, in those colors only few colors they use frequently and other colors they never get touch because, they feel those colors won’t be suitable that much for them. So, first think a bit about how to choose a perfect lipstick color for you? All colors may not be suitable to you. Thus, pick a lipstick based on your skin tone.
1. Identify Your Skin tone Every woman has different skin tone mostly. First identify your skin color; this may be fair, wheatish, pink, dark and etc. How to identify your skin tone? Everyone’s skin has undertones of either pink or yellow. Pink is cooler, yellow is warmer. Knowing your undertone is helpful when you are trying to pick perfect lipstick color for you.
You can find your skin’s undertone looking at the veins on your wrist. If they are blue, you can wear blue lipstick, if pink, you can wear gray, If more green, you can with blue or gray and if they appear in both blue and green colors, you are the lucky woman of a neutral skin tone that is you have equal pink and yellow tones, and you can wear any color.
2. Know Which Shades suitable for your skin tone
When choosing a lipstick, you have to focus on shades based on your. “For pink undertones, pick the shades with purple or blue and for yellow undertones, stick to warmer colors”. And everyone should avoid lipstick colors like ashy, gray or overly pale feel. “These can make the skin look unhealthy or sickly.”
Fair Skin Tones
Women with fair skin tones can use bold reds and deep colors which are matching to your dress, makeup so, you can look fantastic. “Avoid too light or with too much of a yellow shades due to this light shades, you won’t look beautiful.”
Wheatish or normal Skin Tones
Wheatish skin tones are usually neutral; almost all lipstick colors will be suitable for you. “Using of most nude, orange, pink and red shades you are going to look beautiful and fantastic”. You can apply any lipstick color which is either matching to your dress or makeup and etc.
Darker Skin Tones
“Thick plums, berries and reds look good for darker skin tones”. Avoid anything too light or pale on the lips it won’t look nice. Deeper shades look more natural and beautiful.
