Difference between Morning-After Pill and Abortion Pill
There is a great difference between Morning-After pill which is commonly known as an emergency contraceptive pill and an abortion pill. People tend to get confused about both these pills and it is important to know how these pills actually work and the main differences between the two.
Emergency contraceptive pill or the Morning-after pill has a high dosage of progesterone that delays the process of ovulation so that the egg does not implant in the uterus. Progesterone is also found in birth control pills. Abortion pill on the other hand terminates the pregnancy by helping in shedding the uterine lining of the embedded pregnancy.
