Avril Lavigne Under My Skin CD Review
The exceptionally talented Pop artist Avril Lavigne has released her CD entitled Under My Skin.
I am confident and happy to announce that Avril Lavigne fans, and pop music fans alike will be pleased with this one. With the release of Under My Skin Avril Lavigne’s artistic excellence is on full display as she has once again delivered a brilliant collection of tracks that could very well be her best work to date.
Under My Skin literally grabs your attention right out of the gate with Take Me Away and doesn't let go until the very last note of the very last song Slipped Away, which is another great track by the way.
This CD comes on the heels of her debut release Let Go that was absolutely huge for her. As hard as it must be to follow up such a hit CD like that one was Lavigne certainly has done exactly that.
One of the nicer things about a CD like this is with this level of talent even if pop music isn’t your favorite style you still can’t help but appreciate the greatness of the artist. Though still very young in the pop music game she is well on her way to stamping out her own quickly identifiable style and presentation.
Overall Under My Skin is an outstanding release, really spectacular from beginning to end. If you're even mildly into Pop music you'll enjoy this album, as her style and overall voice work are simply outstanding.
While this entire album is outstanding some of my favorites are track 1 – Take Me Away, track – 6 My Happy Ending, and track 10 – Fall To Pieces.
My SmoothLee Bonus Pick, and the one that got Sore [...as in "Stuck On REpeat"] is track 5, How Does It Feel. What a nice track!
