Silambarasan is one of the youngest heroes and the upcoming actors in the Kollywood Film industry. Silambarasan is also known as Simbhu and he is also known little super star among his fans. Apart from acting Simbhu involves himself in playback singing, writing script for movies, composing music and directing movies too.Silambarasan alias Simbhu is the son of the veteran director T.Rajendar and mother Usha Rajendar former actress. Simbhu was introduced in the Kollywood film industry by his father cum famous director T. Rajendar. Simbhu as a child has acted in many movies. Simbhu was born on Feb 3, 1983 in Chennai. He completed his schooling from “The Ashram” and he has also completed a course in audio engineering.Simbhu as a child has acted in nearly 19 films. A few of them are Thai Thangai Paasam, Oru Vasantha Geetham, En Thangai Kalyani, Enga Veetu Velan, Monisha En Monalisa, Oru Thayin Sabhatham, Samsara Sangeetham, Shanthi Enathu Shanthi, Pettredutha Pillai, and Shabash Bab.Simbhu’s first movie as a hero was Kadhal Alzhivathillai which was directed by his father T. Rajendar. His other movies as a hero are: Dhum, Kuthu, Alai, Kovil, Manmadhan, Thotti Jaya, and Saravana. Simbhu’s first movie was a hit and that gave him an entry into the Kollywood film industry was Kuthu, which also ran for 100 days. The other casts of this movie are Ramya, Kalabhavan Mani. The music for the movie Kuthu was scored by Srikanth Deva. Simbhu’s next big hit was Manmadhan, which was the most talked about movie and one of the best thrillers in Indian cinema. Simbhu has worked on story line, screen play and dialogues for the movie Manmadhan. The other cast of this movie are Jothika as the heroine, Mandhira Bedi and Yana Gupta as item numbers. The movie Manmadhan is about a serial killer of women. This movie ran for nearly 275days. The music of this movie was scored by Yuvan Shankar Raja. Simbhu played a dual role in this film.Simbhu has also performed for stages programmes like Netru, Indru, Naalai which was conducted by the ace director Mani Ratnam for good cause.
