New Show Homes Unveiled At CALA Homes Scheme In Ratho
The first images of CALA Homes' two brand new show homes at Ratho have just been released to the acclaim of house hunters interested in new-build homes in Edinburgh and the surrounding area. Almost 100 potential buyers descended on the new show homes during the opening weekend, showing the high level of interest this canal-side development is attracting.
Over half of the existing properties at The Mooring development have already been sold, leading to additional phases being made available at the site. In fact, only one home from the initial phase remains on the market. The three-bedroom semi-detached property is priced at £265,000 with Stamp Duty paid and a part exchange scheme available.
Sarah Stanger, sales and marketing director, at CALA Homes (East) says: "Our development at The Mooring, Ratho has generated a substantial amount of interest from buyers enticed by its stunning location and high quality homes. We have released additional properties to meet demand and are confident that The Mooring will be an asset to Ratho and the surrounding areas.
"With leading schools on its doorstep, including Ratho Primary and Balerno High School, we have seen a great deal of interest from families looking for a spacious new home in a highly desirable area. As with all CALA developments, the attention to detail will be impeccable, with high-quality fittings and finishes throughout."
The two new show houses - the 'Bryce' and the 'Cleland' - are both detached four-bedroom family homes with two en-suites, and spacious kitchen, dining and living areas. The 'Cleland' house type, priced from £385,000, also features attractive French doors leading from the kitchen to the rear garden.
The interiors have been expertly created by designer Carol Yates of Amabile Design. Speaking of The Mooring, Carol says: "Each show home reflects aspirational, luxury modern living with subtle touches which make the rooms feel instantly liveable and comfortable. Both the 'Bryce' and 'Cleland' interiors were designed to give a feeling of light and spaciousness, with soft edges and stunning features in each room to create a point of difference. We've tried to strike a balance between practical family requirements and unique design features to create two show homes that leave a lasting impression with homebuyers."
This development of new homes in Scotland, situated to the west of Edinburgh and boasting an attractive canal basin as its centrepiece, will comprise a collection of detached, terrace and townhouse homes, priced from £265,000.
