World Online Leader competition
Mounth ago a new amazing project appeared in the world wide web. Two guys leading web design and promotion company worked out an effective advertising method devoted to web page promotion. I will shortly describe the idea: You advertise your banner on www.worldonlineleader.com. So do the rest 3002 users (3003 is a max number of users available). Hmm, and what is interesting? – there are many places for advertising of banner you would say…But it is not just advertising! Each banner has a definite number of points which can be increased from time to time. You get points in order to overtake your opponents and take a better position and earn more traffic! If you don’t – sorry, you lose…The biggest number of points has the banner – the highest position it has on a web page. In some kind it reminds the game “king of the mount”. The goal is to win a gold position on the very top of a web page and stay there forever as World Online Leader! So imagine the amount of traffic and new visitors you would earn! Cool!
The idea of the project came up in autumn 2005 while researching the new effective methods of promoting web pages in the internet. Internet marketing itself has been existing for a long time in the world and has plenty of methods which are already known and widely used.
The main goal of the project is to find out and select the most active and visited web pages in the internet and publish these in one common list. At the same time we provide a good advertisement place at a competitive price! World Online Leader web page will be visited by thousands of people. Data collected during this project will be used for further research of the world wide web. It will be displayed in the e-book “Internet advertising and online marketing strategies” coming in June 2006.
