Further Your Education and Increase Success. I am sure we have all heard the craze of street smarts and book smarts, which is better? We are all probably aware of someone who has had their fair share of success and it almost seems as if it fell into their lap. They never went to college, never earned a degree, and yet they are doing better than all of their peers who did put in their time at college. While at the same time, we see people who studied hard and it has paid off for them. So which is the best route? Well, its tough to say, but one thing I am sure of; is if you increase your knowledge and skill level through whatever type of education pursued, success may come a little easier. Here are a few things which can happen through furthering your education: Enhanced marketable skills: There are many ways in which a person can seek an extended education, for example: Internships, certifications, job shadowing, or even visiting the library and reading up on a certain topic can all be classified as further education. As each student pursues their education, skills can be developed which are in high demand in the work force, or in the corporate world. It is hard work, and it can require a lot of time, but it will pay off. Industry Recognition: Earlier I mentioned performing an internship and earning certifications. When employers see this type of education, it lets them know that you have the experience and the know how to perform the job. If you can prove that your skills are exactly what they are looking for, they will have every reason to bring you aboard. Strengthened Resume: It may be the case that your resume is very strong as is, but you may not be seeing the results. Through an extended education, a resume can become even stronger.
