The pharmacist gives you an explanation but you do not end up believing that, it cannot dispense prescription medicines if you do not have. Reminding you that if you try to convince the misuse of drugs than it can cause health problems and the prescription or patient information is the best way to avoid these adverse effects. ‘When demand is prescribed by your health' under this motto, the College of Pharmacists of Biscay want to show that the prescription is not a bureaucratic process but it is a tool for health. It is just best to not be sick, but when there is no choice you have to go to the doctor.

For the sake of clarity, the package and labeling of these products indicates that you have to prevent abuse and it should be dispensed by a pharmacist. The pharmacist in many cases is the only healthcare professional involved in their use and is very important to accept his advice on what is the best medicine, which sometimes does not match requested by the patient. It is also recommend going to the doctor when it is most convenient.

On one hand we have private prescriptions, not being funded by the National Health System, not in any way able to reduce the price of medicine. They do not have a predefined format and only require the identification of the physician, your membership number and signature. Then there are the recipes for Social Security, which are widely used by doctors attached to the public health system. These are standard documents that consist of two parts, one to be delivered to the pharmacist and to the patient.

In the case of active workers, these recipes are green and mean, in general, they pay the payment of 40% of the drug. In the case of pensioners, i.e. retired, permanently off work, or who have acquired this status for different reasons, the recipes are red and there is no amount to pay for medicines dispensed. Blue are for the accidents and diseases, which involve no fertilizer.

Usually when someone goes to the consultation, the doctor, if the situation so requires, prescribe medications and one prescription container, but as in everything there are exceptions. Indeed, if the patient needs are systemic antibiotics, insulin and diagnostic specialty than hospital may dispense up to four packs.
