Duck Hunting and Goose Hunting in Ice Covered Water
We've all been there; fall turns to winter faster than anticipated and suddenly your favorite waterfowl pond is frozen over.
To extend your season beyond the first coating of ice, Weeders Digest has introduced an innovative way to expand your accessibility with the all new 12volt Ice Blaster Duck Pond Deicer.
The Ice Blaster can be used to remove ice with the movement of constant, noiseless water current. It brings the warm water from the bottom to the surface creating open water for the ducks to land. It will also keep duck decoys swimming all season long. You can see it in action at http://www.IceBlaster.org
The DC motor on the Ice Blaster can be run from a common 12 Volt, deep cycle marine battery. The 35' waterproof power cord is included. Light weight enough to be carried and used anywhere, it has a built in handle for ease in carrying. The Ice Blaster can run up to 5 hours on a single 100 amp hour rated marine battery and clear up to 2,000 sq ft. A minimum of 2' of water is needed for optimum use. This could vary depending upon the conditions.
When ready to move to another area there are four easily positioned legs fold up. Hanging the de-icer from a blind or boat is possible with the 2 ropes that are included. An optional mount can be purchased for attaching it to a dock. You can also use it to create aeration by angling the adjustable head upward.
Heavy duty with high quality, durable finishes, this product will help extend your hunting season and give more results with you decoy spread. What could be more enticing to ducks than open water with other ducks bopping around!
Waterfowl hunters throughout the Northern climates who use the Ice Blaster Pond Deicer are thrilled to know that they now have just a bit more control over when their season will ultimately end due to the weather conditions.
