In March of 2004 Yahoo! launched a paid inclusion program that assured industrial sites listings on Yahoo! search engines for a cost. While the paid additions were profitable for Yahoo!, they where undesirable with the online marketing world. Company owner didn't want to pay the web magnate for search engine optimization. Paid inclusion just assured that business websites would be ranked; it didn't ensure that it would be placed in the first 2 pages.
