If you want to have a more gentle way to look around Charleston then have a ride on the narrated tours in a horse-drawn carriage. There are museums all around you and some that offer you a trip back in time, to the first permanent British settlers; this is called the Charles Towne Landing.

There are areas that you can shop in such as the historic district for antiques and art and then you have the Charleston Place for the more up market shopping.

There is high speed internet, video games, two phone lines, wet bar and small fridge, and a microwave in all suites. The rooms are airy and have beautiful historical points of interest such as stone walls.

Onsite there is a nice restaurant, where you are able to enjoy the complimentary breakfast. This hotel holds a managers reception, where guest can mingle and chat. This hotel is on the National Register of Historic Building so it certainly has charm and history.

This hotel is near most attractions and is a well run and clean hotel. The staff are friendly and helpful. There is free parking and this hotel has a nice pool and sun area. Rooms are large and clean and some have a step out balcony.

There is free wireless internet and also adjoining rooms are available. This year there should be a new restaurant and lounge area for you to enjoy. You are near many places to explore and eat in.
