by Benjamin Casanova

This summer is the perfect time to put in a new linoleum floor. Maybe you would like something a little more expensive like a black wooden floor. This is a great time to install any type of flooring if you invest in the right type of flooring. Both black wooden flooring and laminate flooring have their pro's and con's. You may also want to consider which one is easier to install and which one will last longer in the long run.

Laminate Flooring: This is a great choice for penny pinchers. If your on a budget this is great for you..

If you like perfect shapes and sizes in your patterns then you will like lino flooring. Black wooden flooring has random patterns. Lino flooring is more durable than you would expect. The great thing about this is that it will not dim with sunlight. It will not fade with time.. Linoleum flooring is a synch to install. Do you like flooring that just snaps together and sets in place with no glue? Lino flooring comes glue less.. Linoleum flooring is very easy to install. Some laminate flooring may require glue but this type is not very common. If you need flooring in places of your house that tends to get wet a lot then laminate flooring is perfect.

Black Wooden Flooring: More Expensive With Added Quality.

If you're looking for vibrant colors and a more executive look then black wooden flooring is for you. Lino flooring is extremely durable. But black wooden flooring can be refinished again and again, making it brand new each time it's refinished. Black wooden flooring is expensive and is not as scratch resistant. Don't get me wrong, they can take a beating. But they are not as resistant to tough scratches. Hard wood floors are also easier to stain and are more likely to get damaged by water. With laminate flooring you only use it once and it's done. Black hardwood flooring is installed once and lasts for up to twenty years or more.

How to Choose the Best Type of Flooring

The first and most important question is which one do you like better? Do a little research and find out how much value a hard wood floor will add to your home. If it will add at least as much value as you're paying for the flooring it might be a good idea to go ahead and install it. If you have older childern you may not want to install a hard wood floor. If they play rough in the house they may leave scratches or dents in your flooring.? If you allow smoking in your house you will also want to take this into consideration as hard wood floors will burn. Always do your research and find out what's best for you. You will be happy with your flooring and so will your family.
