When visiting England you need Personal transport

by Jeanine Doyle

Most visitors to the UK come into Heathrow Airport which is London's major hub. There is one other major International Airport, Gatwick, and two other less important ones that service the London area but by far the majority of the traffic comes through Heathrow. Heathrow has 5 terminals which each service different Airlines. It is one of the busiest Airports in the world, and handles over 450,000 flight movements annually which is 1,250 each day which is more than 1 aircraft taking off or landing every minute considering that there are virtually no scheduled flights in or out after 22h30 or before 05h30 daily.

So once one lands at Heathrow one wants to get away form the airport as soon as possible and as conveniently as possible. Well for students, back packers and even the well seasoned Londoner the Underground (Mind the Gap) services Heathrow on the Piccadilly line and there is a Station servicing terminal 1-3, and then separate terminals for T4 and T5. The Journey Time to Piccadilly Circus is just under an hour once the train is running.

If one is set on using a train there is the Heathrow Express which is a lot faster. The trains run every 15 minutes and get you to Paddington in about 15 minutes. But it is still a train and you still have to lug you baggage around. In addition neither the underground nor the Heathrow express drop you in the most convenient places. You would almost certainly require another means of transport to get you to your hotel (or the next destination.

There are also Coaches and busses and things all of which have the same disadvantages. They do not cater for your personal needs at all. You will still have to lug your baggage around, board the coaches or trains and then find your way onwards from wherever the coach/rail station is that you end up at.

It would be far more convenient to have your own dedicated and pre-booked taxi or Chauffeured Motorcar meet you on leaving customs and then transport you directly to wherever it is you want to go. If it is to a hotel in Central London or to Oxford or Birmingham this can all be arranged. The advantages are manifold. You can book the cab in advance, you can specify what sort of vehicle it is that you wish for, the chauffeur will meet your flight and take you by the quickest route to wherever it is that you wish to go. You can pay for it is advance so you know exactly how much the trip will cost and you will not be the slightest bit troubled by your luggage.

The service is available from Heathrow to anywhere within England and Wales, We can even arrange to take you to Scotland should that be your desire.

The online booking forms are absolutely straightforward and once confirmed you can relax and know that once you arrive at Heathrow and emerge from Customs in whatever terminal, you will be met by a professional clean chauffeur who will transport you in comfort and security to your next destination.
