Eat smaller amounts within two to three hours of interval, even when you are not feeling hungry. Discard foods enriched in high quantity fats and spices. Say completely no no to alcohol, smoking and caffeine. Consume fluid as much as you can to keep your body well hydrated. Doctors suggest drinking at least 10 to 12 glasses of water, also fruit juice, herbal tea etc. Ginger tea in this regard is highly beneficial for pregnant women. They may also consume ginger tablets. Pregnant women take care to choose snacks. They would better choose dry crackers. Give your body adequate rest in a day. When you lie down, keep pillows both under your head and legs. Move carefully to avoid sudden and harsh movements. To keep off nausea during pregnancy at bay, sit for a while after eating to help your food remain in your stomach and for proper digestion. Brushing teeth immediately after eating can make you feel nauseated, so keep some time in between. You can consume yoghurt, bread or milk or even cereal or a sandwich before heading to the bed to skip nausea during pregnancy, in the morning.
