Know your Rights in the Work Place
This is an article, I have had a long desire to publish. A book will follow if this article prove interesting to the masses.
I believe that people in the average work placehave no idea of their Civil Rights. After six years of being the Chief Steward at a State Hospital, and the Vice President of my Local, I feel I have earned the right to share my knowledge with those less fortunate than myself. I also am certified as an Equal Employment Opportunity Specialist,which gives me the advantage of being on both sides.As an employee, and as an E.E.O.C. specialist,I have observed so many violations of peoples Civil Righte. On many occasions I tried to intervene, but because the employee has no concept of their rights, they become fearful of loosing their jobs.
The intent of my soon to be published book, is to make the basic information of The employee's Title V11 of the Civil Rights Act of 1994 available to them.
The office of Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, is extremely short staffed, so caces which on the surface appear to have little or no merit; it would be a long time before it is investigated.My objective, is to help you construct your case if it has merit,by using the knowledge you will receive, via my book.
