i68+ SciPhone the iPhone Clone becomes Cult Cell Phone

The newest iPhone Clone to hit the streets is the SciPhone i68+

by Alex Morris

The latest Cell Phone to emerge in the iPhone ‘Clone Wars’ is the i68+ SciPhone . With it’s stylish looks very closely resembling the iPhone - it is virtually identical apart from the missing Apple logo and the addition of a stylus built in on one side. Join me for a look at why the SciPhone has risen above the rest.
1. Appearance. The phone looks very similar to the iPhone and has the same touch screen operation. It even has an interface which closely resembles the classic iPhone.
2. Dual Sim Cards. The SciPhone can support 2 sim cards at the same time. No more reception issues, or missed calls, you can run both networks at the same time. When you make a call it allows you to press call 1 or call 2 representing the two sim cards –this option is perfect for travellers that want to use international sim cards whilst still being connected to their home network and for cellular networks that offer on network discounts. Dual sim cards are an option that are much sought after but hasn’t made it to the mainstream brands that are under pressure from the networks which prefer phones to be locked to their network.
3. Unlocked. For what looks to be an iPhone, you get an unlocked phone which can be used with any networkor any any two networks without any restrictions.
4. Java support. The phone has some Java support, unfortunately this doesn’t mean you can connect to iTunes and start downloading games but there are number of sources supporting download of games playable on the SciPhone.
5. Geek Factor. This SciPone has quicky reached cult status as a gadget phone from China. There is almost always one HOT phone from China, the SciPhone has easily surpassed the HiPhone which was the first iPhone clone to gain widespread popularity.
6. Shake/Tilt operation. Believe it or not, this is one of the features most buyers ask about – the fact that music can be controlled by shaking and tilting the phone.

It isn’t an iPhone. Despite what anyone tells you it isn’t going to be better than an iPhone – not even close. Yet it offers features that the iPhone doesn’t and it does it at a fraction of the cost.
Product Support. Limited support is provided by retailers, but it is a Chinese phone factory supported. It does not have any service centres and most support is going to be in the form of finding solutions by browsing the forums.
Games applications are limited and found only on a number of websites specifically for the SciPhone.
Additional features.
Quad band so can be used world wide
1.3 MP camera (factory spec) some say the true resolution is actually closer to 640x480 VGA
Comes with charger, 2 batteries, car charger, ear buds, USB cable, manual, 1GB mini SD card.

Watch out for fake SciPhones, we recommend purchasing from a reputable distributor such as Twift.om
