Dating Advice Are Not For You Evidently

Dating Advice Are Not For Me Evidently

by Paul Zayer

The method people are using for dating nowadays will never be the same way that our parents used few short decades ago. But of course the feelings are the same and so are the needs.

It is amazing what people fall for when they are desperate. Anyone who took knowledge of all the scams on Internet offering guaranteed success in any kind of business for just a little investment probably knows exactly what I'm talking about. People get crazy about money, and sometimes they do crazy things too when they should know better.

As insane as people get over money, however, some get even crazier over romance. People get dating advice from anyone. People get dating tips from psychics, from friends who have had little relationship success, and from so-called experts with no professional certificates. From the palm reader down at the county fair to Dr. Phil, the world of dating advice is full of crazy people. Although sometimes these people give good advice on dating, you are always taking a risk when you consult them. Is it worth the risk?

A good friend of mine used to give me good advice on relationships. He presented himself as a real ladies man, but the reality was very different. It was true that he had many dates with a lot of different girls, but I found out that it was because none of them wanted to go out with him for more than a date or two. We listened to his dating advice because we thought he was such a stud at the time, but it was always bad. All of his romance advices inevitably failed. Sure, his dating advice could help us to find a date. He would help us get our relationship profile in order for online dating services, or practice that perfect pickup line. However, he would not help us make our relationships last.

When you get dating advice from someone, it is important that you first know a little bit about their personal life. I am not saying that someone can't give good dating advice if he doesn't have a good relationship history, but I am telling you that it should make you wonder. There are some people who can tell you the right thing to do but can't do it themselves, but for each one of them there are may be four who tell it just exactly like they do it. The bottom line is you don't have to trust a friend for dating advice just because they think they are experienced. Instead, find a friend who had lived at least one very stable relationship and has really good powers of self perception. Get your dating advice from him or her.
