Have you ever watched American shopping channels? Although the shows are looking stupid (at least in my opinion), they still exist already for many years (not just in America, but in many other places copied that same show format). The reason for that is simple, these shows are selling products. If they weren't selling any products those shows weren't around anymore.
Surprisingly this also has to do with choosing a products to promote. The way these TV shows are selling is be repeating the message again and again (and again...) each time the same thing is shown but in a different way. For example, if a vacuum cleaner is being sold they will show how powerful it is. In order to emphasize it's power and repeat the message,they will show it vacuuming various things around the house. Dust, metal, glass, liquids, you name it!
Repetition is very powerful and is a well known method of selling. In order to find a good sales page and begin to promote it, find a web page that repeat the message, why the product is so great. It can be done in different ways of course in order to not make the users bored.
If you are selling a special e-cook book that has only cookies recipes and you want to show how tasty they are then show that in various ways, until people are convinced the cookies from those recipes are so tasty that they are irresistible to anyone. A good way to do that would be getting testimonials from various people in different ages that tried tasted those cookies. What you do is showing how tasty the cookies are but in different ways.
A good merchant or Internet marketer would use this kind of method to increase his sales, since this kind of web pages increase the conversion rate. Search for those sales pages.
