Do you have a cellphone with camera? Silly question, I guess - these days, cellphones without cameras are quite rare.

Why not set up a moblog? This is a weblog (which it seems everybody and her dog got since it was made famous during the Iraq conflict) where you post using your cellphone. Imagine the immediacy of having pictures and text - straight to your website!

(You can also make your posts by email from a PC).

In principle, it is very simple. Set up a blog or a gallery (You can use Movable Type – http://www.movabletype.com, Gallery - http://gallery.menalto.com, which you need to set up on a PHP-based server, or Blogger - http://www.blogger.com, which is centrally hosted).

I set up Movable Type on my own server this weekend, and I recommend that you read the instructions carefully. I have installed more than 20 different CMS-systems, so I thought I didn’t need any instructions. Boy, was I wrong! Movable Type is an extremely competent system, used by some of the biggest sites around, which features such as multiple authors. But – the setup is atypical.

Then sign up at mfop (http://www.bastish.net/mfop). This allows you to email from your cam-phone to an mfop-email-address. Your email is then passed on to your blog/gallery including the image and automatically posted. Kevin Cameron, the creator of mfop (Moblogging for Other People) gives INCREDIBLE support – especially considering this is a service you usually have to pay for!

There are other options. At http://www.mophone.com/moblogs/ you find a free, easy to use solution.

You can also try flickr - http://www.flickr.com/.

Now, perhaps you would like to make a little cash from your blog. Sign up for an adsense-account at https://www.google.com/adsense/ and add the code you get to your blog. Adsense are the tiny text-ads from Google that just about everybody have added to their website. Quite understandably, since Adsense can be a good source of income if you have enough visitors.
