What Place Do Cannabis Seeds Have In Your Life In 2012?
'In my pocket' I hear you say…
Cannabis seeds are one of those products that can completely pass you by if you don't know of their existence. While I'm sure you know about cannabis and all its exciting history and properties and legal pandemonium, chances are information on their seeds are a little less likely to be part of your knowledge base.

They are legal and popular for "collectors" to buy, while those living in countries where it is legal to do so can even grow them into fully fledged cannabis plants. They look pretty I hear.

So what place do cannabis seeds have in your life in 2012?

Grow Your Collection

Of course you could become a collector. They are quite valuable with some of the rare varieties costing almost £100 each, and their value will only go up too, especially if they are a popular strain that is dying out. Yours could be the last one left!

You can of course just collect them for the fun of collecting. Like stamps, there are a lot of them, but once you start your collection, you may get the bug and find yourself travelling round the world hunting for a special or unique variety that you just have to get to complete the set. Plus they are producing new ones all the time, but no so often that you don't feel special.

Grow Your Collection

If you like a good socio-political/ethical tussle with the countries law makers, you could provoke a debate by growing a ton of weed in your back garden as medicinal treatment for your 'headaches'. Then when the cops come round, call the media and make a stand against the government's stance of cannabis and social freedoms, and you can state how thousands die from smoking related deaths each year and how there has never been a fatality through cannabis use. You may not win and you may go to jail for growing the cannabis but it might be a good laugh.

No Place

Another way of looking at it is to say that there is no place for cannabis seeds in 2012. If you collect seeds such as White Widow and build up a seed bank, let's face it, you're going to be tempted to grow them and then you will either get caught and be fined or (if you grow a forest) go to jail, or you could smoke a load of it and become a total stoner, allowing your hopes and dreams to collapse and turn you into a paranoid hermit.
