Munich has one main airport that services the area; the Franz Josef Strauss International Airport. This is one of the most modern airports in Europe, and has only been in existence since 1992 when it took over for the out of date Munich-Reim Airport.
Even though Munich may not be the biggest city in Europe, there is still plenty to do if you want to make a visit. The tourism industry is Munich is booming, and there is no reason that you cannot add to this trend. You could have the time of your life in Munich partying and sightseeing.
