Exposure and Elimination of Spyware And Adware Programs

Detection and removal of malicious software is easier said than done. If you are an advanced user, chances are that you will know how to protect your computer against these pests but still there is no guarantee you won�t catch them.

Spyware removers and adware removal does not have to cost anything for the computer user. However, the programs are necessary to protect private information and the laptop or desktop itself. Spyware and adware are not simply a pain in the neck like junk mail or spam; the software can literally ruin lives.

So, what is the Internet user supposed to do, in order to protect the computer and safeguard personal information? Fortunately, programs are available to help. However, sometimes the fix can be more harmful than the problem.

For instance, last week I got a free anti-malware program. Not surprisingly, the program discovered tons of suspicious files and recommended to remove them asap. But surprisingly, the �free� program didn�t want to clean all this stuff unless I paid $50 for the full version. I guess, this is called an attempt to rip off users!

But this was not all. I closed the program but even then it continued to nag me with messages such as �somebody might be spying you�, �there is an identity theft risk for you� and similar. This was pretty annoying but still it didn�t make me pay for the full version. Instead, it convinced me that the solution was to delete the program.

Imagine my surprise when a message informed me that access is denied! My computer and my files, and I cannot add or remove programs of my choosing! Want to bet? In the end, I had to do a system restore to a point in time prior to downloading the program that is supposedly designed to prevent such problems.

After this nasty experience, I was determined to find a reliable spyware and adware detection and removal program. I tried many programs and I liked Ad-aware best. I can�t afford to spend much money and because of this it is not a problem that the free version they offer is from last year. In addition to the free version, Ad-aware offers Pro and Plus versions. Their prices are quite reasonable and I believe they have additional features and scan more types of files.

In my case only restoring the system to a cleaner state was the fix I needed. For me the most unpleasant was that this program was just what one should watch out for when downloading freeware and any other software. It turned out that it costs less to buy a reliable spyware and adware detection and removal program, then to expect help from freeware.

So, if you use the Internet a lot, you really need a trustworthy spyware and adware detection and removal program. Even if you are always on the watch out and don�t visit suspicious sites, your computer is like a house without a door, when you have no good spyware and adware detection and removal program.
