Advice from a local on getting into a Vegas nightclub
So you're heading to Las Vegas and now it's time to plan the perfect party experience. Las Vegas is famous for having the best nightclubs in the world, no question about it. And I'm sure you've heard a bunch of different tales about how these clubs operate, how to gain access, and how to have that memorable night people keep talking about. It's really insane to me just how much crap information and mysteriousness is floating around about the clubs in Las Vegas.
Are they definately of the best nightclubs in the nation? Yes.
Are they extremely hard and costly to gain entrance into? The answer will be a NO come your completion of reading this article.
Let's break it down and clear up the confusing mess as simply as possible. You have three different options for entering Las Vegas venues: general admission, entry by guest list, and bottle service for the VIPs. We're going to disregard the last one because, well, this article is about getting in WITHOUT table service.
General Admission If getting into the clubs were a hierarchy ladder, this would be the bottom rung. General admission is basically when you choose just to walk up to the club, hop inline and wait to get in. Using this method of entry, you could be waiting in lines up to several hours, and on top of that be required to pay full cover price when you're finally at the main entrance. If you're a super hot group of girls, you might get pulled out of the line but chances aren't great on that. If you are like me (a member of the rest of the world), I hope you aren't wearing anything too tight because you're probably going to be there a while. I absolutely do not suggest going general admission unless if is your last resort. Unless you want to conversate for long periods of time with other line-waiters, take a look at the other options below.
Entry via Guest List Guest list entry is definitely the method of entry I find myself recommending to my friends that come into town the most as it usually works for most groups, is cheaper, and allows you to bypass a lot of the line. But how does this work? Thanks for asking. What you do is put in a request for your party to be placed on a club's guest list for a particular night. If approved (over 90% of requests are), your group will go into a special line outside the club that will be way shorter than the general admission line. For girls, the majority of the time you'll get free entry; and for gentlemen, it is free sometimes but at least it's usually a largely reduced cover. You also want to make sure that your group qualifies and meets the guidelines that go along with guest listing. I'm posting a link to my favorite Las vegas company.
All you have to do is go to the site, select the club you're interested in, click the guest list button, fill out your basic information (takes 20 seconds), and they'll respond back within 1 business day. It's free.
