It determines which files have been modified since the last remote backup, compresses them, and encrypts them for security. When the data is ready your computer contacts our server and transmits the data over the Internet.
Our servers verify and store the data. The next morning we copy the data to a tape and place it in a fireproof safe in yet another location. You can rest assured that your data is safe, because it is stored off-site.
