Attempting To Be a More Caring Person
Do you believe that understanding and compassion can change the world? Do you think that other people could benefit from the actions of others? My belief is that these things are possible. There is a company I fell across called NXIVM. Changing the world by changing the way we relate to it, is a belief that is valued by the founder of NXIVM, Keith Raniere. NXIVM offers some classes for people who would like to learn how to better relate to the world we live in.
What advances should a person take to make themselves better people? A life could be altered because we take the time to use our love and compassion in subconscious ways during these regular daily routines. The first thing I believe a person can do when interacting with another person, particularly in a challenging situation, is to put oneself in the other person's shoes. By looking at feelings through a contrasting lens, you might be surprised at what you discover.
Your attitude may make changes possible that you never thought could come to pass. In any interaction, do your best to evaluate what is fair - for you and the other person - and try to act it out. Leaving a conversation or situation can truly make a person feel rotten on the inside, so you should always try to fix the problem before ever leaving a conversation. For other individuals, it is easier to walk away with less than what is fair. Again, over time, it may not create the kind of situation you really like. Plus, aren't you worth what's fair?
There is something about simply viewing other people as human that we can sometimes forget to do when in a challenging situation. Try to imagine that the other person has feelings, too, and like you sometimes acts out of emotions we can all relate to, like fear. As long as you see each other as equals trying to reach a mutual understanding and view each other as human, you should be successful in reaching a decision. You should always attempt to find something you can relate to in a person if you are still finding it difficult to deal with them in a loving and compassionate way. Taking the time to find out what you two may have in common. If you find something familiar and good in the person, you will be able to diffuse the issue.
Your morals are going to have a big role in the outcome. What kind of ethics do you have? What things play a serious role in your life? What could make other situation different form the one you are dealing with and how could you relate the two. Knowing yourself is the first step to improving everything else.
Believing and feeling passionate about a conversation is something that should be present. We can avoid the way we feel when other individuals are involved. We also hide our feeling to the back of our minds when they should be being handled with. If you can find the place where compassion and love come from then you can accomplish many things in the name of a better world.
