Another great thing about aromatherapy is that there are certain oils that can be used as aphrodisiac. This means that if you and your partner are not interested in sex anymore, you can use these oils for aromatherapy to arouse your sexual interest in each other. The scent will stimulate a part of the brain called the limbic system. This part of the brain is the emotional center of the brain and when stimulated, it will relax you and will excite you.

Furthermore, aromatherapy can treat depression as well as anxiety since the emotional center of the brain is stimulated the positive way.

The fact that aromatherapy can help you relax means that you will be able to control your blood pressure. Also, it will be able to relax the strained nerves in your body and regulate the heart beat rate. This means that it can be very beneficial for people suffering from hypertension and other heart related problems. Inhaling the scent from various herbs can relax you, it will relax the nerves to allow blood to flow easily through it.

It is important that you should try and combine the three different aromatherapy oils. The first group of oils is called the top notes. These oils are stimulating and can last up to 24 hours. The second group is called the middle notes. The scent may last up to 3 days and has a metabolic function. Examples of oils are extracted from lavender, juniper, germanium and chamomile.

The base notes are the slowest to evaporate. The scent may last for a week and is will usually have a sweet soothing scent. Examples of plants where oils are extracted are sandalwood, rose, ginger, jasmine, clove and cedarwood.

These are some of the aromatherapy herb that you should try. Not only that smelling the scents of these oils can uplift your mind, but it can also promote fast and proper healing of the body.
