Window blinds include three types of blinds to cover an inside window. First is the shade. This type of window blinds is the ones that go up and down. It includes cellular or honeycomb shades, roller shades, roman shades. The second type of window blinds is the horizontal category. They include the mini blind and the faux wood blinds. Lastly is the vertical window blinds. They include vertical blinds and any blind that is vertical.

Shade window blinds go up and down horizontally. They start in the down position and go up to the top of the window opening to provide the view. The most popular shade window blinds include the cellular or honeycomb shade, roller shades and roman shades.

The horizontal window blinds can tilt open and go up and down. The most popular by far is the one-inch mini blind made of aluminum. The second most popular is the two inch faux wood blind. These are the most functional and the most affordable.

Vertical window blinds slide side to side and are on a track system. These include regular vertical blinds and the popular vertical sheer blinds and lastly, the vertical cellular shades.
